Granite:
Granite is a natural stone. There is a degree of porosity, so it's recommended you seal them every year. Granite is extremely durable and scratch resistant. It is
impervious to water and heat. The slabs can vary in color, therefore it is recommended you personally choose your own slab.
Marble:
Marble is also a natural stone. It is less dense than Granite and it is recommended sealants be applied more frequently to prevent stains.
Soapstone:
Soapstone is also a natural stone. It is a durable material and stains can usually be rubbed out. Mineral oil will bring out a darker, richer color.
Quartz:
Quartz is a man-made material which provides the look of natural stone. It is non-porous and done not require the sealing that Granite and Marble do. Quartz gives the general
appearance of natural stone; however the color and pattern are more consistent.
Laminate:
Laminate is a synthetic material made up of several layers. Laminate offers hundreds of patterns and a variety of finishes. It is easy to clean and keep up with.
It is a very cost effective way to upgrade your existing cabinets.
